Do you think the computer polls will put Michigan ahead of Florida? If so, is it enough to make Michigans avg of all things considered better than UF?

Looks to me like UF will be playing OSU. The BCS is heavily influenced by the two above polls. Of course with the BCS OSU may end up playing Purdue for all we know. Nothing would suprise me with that garbage.

those polls are skewed. just because they don't want OSU and MIichigan to play again they jumped Florida over Michigan. pure and simple, the only way to take most of the "politics" out of this system is take the top 8 teams and put them in a playoff.

Total agreement, a playoff system is the only way to crown a true champion.

I agree with what you're saying except for, "those polls are skewed". I don't know what kind of "skewing" coaches (including those from the Big 10 and SEC) are supposed to be doing. I agree on the playoffs, I just don't see the "skewed" part of it. Michigan really got hurt by not playing Saturday.

Oh...and the above polls...the AP is not used in the BCS, we'll have to wait to see if UF jumps Michigan in the Harris poll. Brainfart on my part.

Re: UF Jumps Michigan In Both Polls...

exactly. why should Michigan be punished because their season is over. OSU didn't play either, should they lose votes? I just think it will come down to some don't want to see a rematch and the fact that Michigan didn't win their conference and they don't want the SEC to have more ammo with another SEC team being shut out of the Championship game like Auburn.
I could be 100% wrong but I don't know how Michigan could drop just because they didn't play. UF didn't look like world beaters yesterday. I could have seen it if UF beat AK 56-7 in the SEC championship game, just not this scenario
